Back in blogland

It's been a helter-skelter month for me, with rellies in town from interstate, essays to write (one exegesis and one topical essay from the book of Isaiah), essays to mark (public relations), an excursion that I organised for some students (selling bandannas for the CanTeen charity), a funeral, and the usual few nights of broken sleep, just for good measure.

The result? Little time or inclination for blogging.

To prove I've been alive, a few pics from the last month's comings-and-goings are below.

My father-in-law beating two young turks at bocce. (Note the ball mid-flight.)

A groovy pic that my wife took. The 'installation' piece -- Autumn indoors? -- is mine. (Note the cool yellow dog in the shade.)

The students selling bandannas for CanTeen at Garden City -- a hands-on PR exercise.
